Veterans Affairs Medical Center Hospice. He was born on December 30, 1946, the son of Reba Franklin Essary and Bonnie (Gathing) Essary.
Billy joined the United States Army and served two tours in the Vietnam war. Upon his return home he worked in tree removal services for many years in Texas.
Billy is survived by his Sister, Glenda (Glenn) Spears. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his daughter.
Billy loved tennis; more recently watching others play, but back in his hay day he sure did love to play himself.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at the Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Road, on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 2:30p.m..
Interment will follow the service.
