Makalin Aaron Duane Mabin, 21, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at home. He was born on August 5, 1997, the son of Shawn Mabin Sr. and Michelle McLeichey.
He attended Battle Creek Central High School, graduating class of 2015. He played many sports, his favorite being Football. He was a very dedicated employee at Musashi Auto-Parts. Makalin enjoyed spending time with family. He was a sweet young man with a bright future ahead of him.
Makalin is survived by his Mother, Michelle McLeichey; Father, Shawn Mabin Sr.; Sisters, Monique Mabin, Mishawna Mabin, and Shaiann Mabin; Brothers, Tonaiko Mabin, Shawn Mabin Jr.; Fiancé,, Johneisha Adesina; Maternal Grandparents, Caliph and Etta Mitchell; Paternal Grandparents, Geraldine Mabin; Two Nephews, Michael Wells, Arvonno Jackson; Step-Mother, Jodie Mabin, God Mother, Felicia Lucas, and a host of aunts and uncles, cousins, and one nephew on the way. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather, Michael McLeichey and Paternal Grandfather, Lionel Warren.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 12:00pm to 1:00 pm, with the Funeral service following at 1:00pm. Funeral procession to arrive for burial at Memorial Park Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
