My heart is heavy as I think about all of our lives without Dawn. Harold, Nick, and Maddie - you were a foursome that shouldered life together. I loved so many things about your wife and mom - her emotional intelligence, her joyful commitment to helping that child who needed just a little bit of assistance, her smile and laugh that could fill a soul, her gracious toughness to weather a storm, and her unbending love for the three of you. Knowing her made me a better person. I loved her and I will always miss her.
