Myrtice "Myrtis" Louise Parker, 83, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence. She was born on May 5, 1935, the daughter of I.T. Worthem and Myrtle (Brown) Worthem.
Myrtice attended schools in Tennessee. She was a painter with Keyes-Davis Painting for 45 years and also was a custodian at Woodlawn Preschool for 41 years.
Mrytice is survived by her Sons, Quentin Omar Parker, Michael Ray Hollis, Myron Lynn (Despina) Hollis and Anslum (Charlene) Hudlin; Daughter, Zena Renee Parker; Numerous Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren, Sisters, Nona Washington and Irene (Henry) Caruthers; Brother, Frank Worthem; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her Parents, her Husband, Anslum Parker and Sister, Annabelle Worthem.
Myrtice enjoyed cooking, baking, flower gardening, crafts and loved spending time with her family.
