Obituary for Marcia Elaine Gibson
Marcia Elaine Gibson, 70, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. She was born on January 4, 1949, the daughter of James P. Huskin Sr. and Mary Jean (Tucker) Huskin.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Wanda) Gibson; two daughters, Christina (Spencer) Outman, Brenda (Tim Sweet) Gibson; two brothers, David (Phyllis) Huskin, James (Cathy) Huskin III; three sisters, Cindy Bowersox, Emily (Jeff) Younginger, Cyndi (Dan) Bradley; six grandchildren, Jeffrey (Ashley) Gibson, Shelby (Joe Robinson) Jones, Chelsea (Nick) Thompson, Joshua (Virginia) Gibson, Daulton (Brooke) Jones, Savannah Outman and a great-grandchild, Natalie Thompson. She was preceded in death by her Father, James P. Huskin, Sr., Mother, Mary Jean Huskin, great- grandchild, Angel Sky, Jones, David Capps and long time companion, Kevin Lindauer.
She loved to laugh and was quick witted with a joke. She loved playing Golf and watching it on TV whenever she could. She was an avid and dedicated Detroit Tigers fan and enjoyed astronomy, bingo, cribbage and euchre.
In accordance with Marcia's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering is scheduled for June 22nd at Springfield Tavern from 1pm to 4pm. She will be laid to rest at Bedford Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements by the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service.
