Obituary for Robert Reid ""Break It Down Bob"" Ledford Jr.
Robert Reid “Break It Down Bob” Ledford Jr., 64, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020. He was born on October 10, 1955, the son of Robert Reid Ledford and Margaret (Peddleton) Ledford. Robert worked to help others by being a volunteer at Habitat for Humanity and active in Community Inclusive Recreation. He loved people and being able to socialize with them, especially attending Battle Creek Schools sporting events. He was a very active church attendee at Mt. Zion AME. Robert will be greatly missed by his roommates at Hill House.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Robert Reid Ledford, Sr., Mother, Margaret Ledford, Brother, William Ledford.
In accordance with Robert's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 3:00 to 5:00 at Baxter Funeral & Cremation, 375 W. Dickman Rd., Battle Creek. Memorial contributions in Robert's name may be made to the Battle Creek Schools Lunch Fund. Arrangements entrusted to Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service.
