Dad wasn't feeling the greatest the year I made it home for Thanksgiving. I remember he was tired but, as always, in good spirits. His example of grace under pressure was one of the things that has kept me alive and positive through the darkest times of my life. A picture freezes that moment, that happy moment, and preserves it forever. My father taught me the virtues of patience, the humility of spirit, and the bravery to do what's right in spite of all the odds against you. He was a good man who had cared for me when I did not care about anything anymore. My heart is heavy because I was not informed of his passing and that has been very hard for me me. ( I may be adopted, but he was my dad.) During this time of the year, Thanksgiving time, is when family puts aside their differences and accept each other, flaws and all. My father, Alan Crandall, never judged me as harshly as many others did, and he was always in support of me, be it music or sports. Thank you dad for everything and when you read this, know that I am very proud of the ethics and morals he taught me and i am thankful that he has moved on to his reward. I am 43 now and have changed many perspectives at this point, but my love for my father was never one of those. I love you dad.

I was a good friend of Thaine & Grace, Thaine built my home back when Donna & Allan were younger. Donna was a favorite baby sitter of ours in fact. To Allan's family I extend my utmost condolences. Jim Smith

Donna, My prayers are with you and the family. Al was a wonderful man, who did work hard and always respected everyone he crossed paths with. When we did work together at Kellogg's, he kept me on my toes he could be a bit of a prankster! He will be missed.
Again Blessings to you, Paula Swan
