Obituary for Allan Ray Walker
Allan R. Walker, 75, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019. He was born on March 3, 1944, the son of Harold Edwin Walker and Agnes Marie Walker.
He is survived by his Wife of 56 years, Cheryl Darlene (Deming) Walker; brother, Gary (Paulette) Walker; sister, Sherry (Jim) Duke; 3 daughters, Janet (Bill) Richardson, Tammy Longstreet, Kelly Walker; son, Jeffrey (Ryan) Walker; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 special nieces, Debra Hager, Michele Warner and many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Jennings Caraway, stepmother, Bonnie Walker, brothers, Randy Walker and James Walker.
Allan loved classic cars and used to race stock cars. He loved helping people, and spending time with his family and friends. He never met a stranger.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Thursday June 13, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Friday, June 14, 2019, 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
