Obituary for Allen W. Newberry
Allen W. Newberry 71, of Bellvue, MI passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 23rd, 1948, the son of Junior and Kathryn Newberry.
Allen worked at Clark Equipment for 28 years and as a carpenter for 22 years. He was a lifetime member of Eagles #299. Allen enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to Fire Keepers Casino, he enjoyed having his family and friends to join him with a drink.
Allen is survived by his children, Kris (Scott) Mesack, Penny (Bob) Parker, Steven (Christina) Newberry, Step-daughters, Denise (Joe) Shepard, Teri Ziegler, and Step-son, Kenneth Ziegler, his mother Kathryn Newberry. Sisters, Nancy (Ron) Rosin, Carol (David) Lantz, Audrey (Jim) Wernowsky, many nieces, nephews and friends, also 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Allen was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Gwen, and his father Junior Newberry.
Burial will be at Hicks Cemetery on Friday , April 3, 2020 at 2:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials contributions may be made in Allen’s name to Elara Care Hopice.
