Obituary for Allen Russell Vandenboss
Allen Russell Vandenboss, 74, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. He was born on November 13, 1946, the son of Russell B. and Rita Frances (Miller) Vandenboss.
Allen married Reva McCumsey on September 1, 1973 and the two have spent the last 47 years together.
Allen is survived by his Wife, Reva (McCumsey) Vandenboss; Daughter, Jaime Vandenboss; Three Brothers, Don (Ardis) Vandenboss, Jim (Kim) Vandenboss, Richard (Kathy) Vandenboss; Two Sisters, Mary Grice-Hicks, Alice Vandenboss; Brother-In-Law, Lee Langlois and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Two Sisters, Joyce LaNoue and Linda Langlois.
Allen loved to go hunting, fishing, out to different restaurants, traveling to many states, Mexico and Canada, working in the garden and collecting coins. He always enjoyed watching Westerns, and Wildlife networks on TV, which led to his love of animals. He was mentioned in the Roses twice for being generous and helping neighbors in the summer and winter. He was loved within his neighborhood for all the wonderful acts of kindness he did for anyone that needed help. He will truly be missed by all those that knew and loved him.
At this time, cremation has taken place and no services are being held.
