Angela Norton, 71, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021. She was born on May 23, 1949, the daughter of Richard Wilson Shive and Juanita Marie (Long) Shive.

Angela is survived by her husband, Joseph LaVerne Norton; two sons, Jim (Melissa) Ohrt, and Richard (Miriam) Ohrt; two step-daughters, Judy (Stanley Sr.) Hawver and Ronnie May Pierce; three brothers, Richard Shive, Jr., Terry Shive, and John (Lisa) Shive; two sisters, Robin Woods, and Tina (Brian) Burton; sister-in-law, Marion Shive; grandchildren, Cameron Ohrt, Kylie Ohrt, Sofia Ohrt, Jessica Ohrt, Christopher Diamond, Jenifer Whicker, Pam (Brian) Ferris, Penny (Kevin) Villadsen, Beverly (Dennis) Brown, Beth (Robert) Brown, Lora Clark, Ronald (Summer) Hawver, Stanley (Cheryl) Hawver Jr.; 32 great grandchildren, and 16 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jean Marie (Shive) Millsap and brothers, Kevin Shive, Donald Shive, and William Shive.

In accordance with Angela's wishes, cremation has taken place. Her ashes will be interred at Fort Custer National Cemetery on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 2:00 pm.
