Anita Sharlene Collins, 54, of Springfield, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at MediLodge of Marshall. She was born on December 16, 1960, the daughter of Charles Franklin Collins and Annette (Nelson) Collins.
Anita was a graduate of Battle Creek Central High School.
Anita is survived by her Daughters: Rhoda Collins (Leo) of Springfield, MI and DeAngela Collins (Donald) of Battle Creek, MI; Son: Charles (Stephanie) Collins of Norfolk, VG; Grandchildren, Darion, Tylek, Marcellous, Ahnana, Austin, Elijah, Isiah, Jerimiah, De, Angelo, Alashae and Donaeshae; Three Brothers, Michael Collins of Battle Creek, MI, Prince Collins of Grand Rapids, MI, Gregory Collins of Battle Creek, MI; Sister, Stacey Collins of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her Father, Charles Franklin Collins, Mother, Annette Collins, Grandson, Prince Amier, special nieces Nyesha and Tynesha Collins and nephew Michael Collins.
Anita enjoyed shopping, singing and attending church. She was a kind person with a loving heart, unselfish who dedicated her life to serving God, her three children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday September 26.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on ,Saturday, September 26 at 2:00 pm: with Creighton Mabry officiating.
Cremation will follow.
