Anna Lee (Trobaugh) Prough, 79, of Bellevue, Michigan and formally of Lecanto, Florida, passed away after a short battle with cancer on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Centrica Glenn Arbor Place. She was born on January 26, 1944, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Edward Lesley Trobaugh and Louise Lorraine (O’Neill) Trobaugh.
Anna was a 1963 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. She was employed at Keyes Davis as a press operator for 17 years, and Battle Creek Health Systems Housekeeping as a floor finisher until 2002.
She was a remarkably strong woman that had a love for life and family. She loved horseback riding, fishing and bull frogging in her younger years. She loved woodworking, making things for her family and items to sell. She loved traveling to the fairs, craft shows and going to see the balloons. She loved seeing and spending time with her family.
Anna is survived by her daughters, Louise (Dillard) Smith, Mychelle Prough, and Linda (Dwight) Stewart; grandchildren, Amanda (Robert) Ireland, Dillard (Ashley) Smith, Joshua (Samantha) Smith, Samantha Smith, Markis (Andria) Hernandez, Breanna (Lance) Gordon, Logan Mears and Trinity Mears; 13 great grandchildren; life partner, Edna Scott and her children, Kenneth (Kacey) Scott & family, Nancy Latshaw & family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward & Louise Trobaugh; sisters, Emma Eberhardt, Sharon Haswell and grandson, Donavin Prough.
A celebration of Anna’s life will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Wild Mike's, 22575 Bedford Rd. Battle Creek, MI 49017
