Arnold B. Barrett, 70, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. He was born on April 4, 1951, the son of Sam R. Barrett and Grace Marie (Bush) Barrett. He worked 31 years for Grand Trunk Railroad and 11 years for Pennfield Schools. He was a great husband, father, and wonderful grandfather. Arnold was a very family-oriented man, who loved spending time with his family and friends.

Arnold is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Lou (Whitney) Barrett; two daughters, Marsha Ann (John) Crawley and Samantha Lynn Barrett; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Dianna Marie Sharpe; sisters-in-law, Margie (Richard) Thompson and Sharon Barrett; brother-in-law, Steve (Halina) Whitney and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Sam R. Barrett; mother, Grace Marie Barrett, and brother, Mike Barrett.

A graveside service will be held at the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens, 1490 E. Michigan Avenue, on Thursday, May 27, 2021, 1:00 pm.
