Obituary for Arthur D. Broadus
Arthur Broadus, 66, of Battle Creek, Michigan was called home on September 20, 2020. He was born on December 20, 1953, the son of Arather Broadus and Roselee (Blakemore) Redden. He was a graduate of Battle Creek, Michigan and was an employee at the railroad in Battle Creek. He was one of the top basketball players known. He also enjoyed chess, music, and his mother’s cooking.
Arthur leaves his beautiful family to celebrate; his lovely wife, Viola Broadus; children, Steven Broadus and Stacy Broadus (Q, Gordon); 3 grandchildren, Qualayia Gordon, Quanell Gordon, Jr., and Quasard Gordon; step-children, Stanley Williams and Stephanie William, all of Savannah, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins special (Ronald and Donald Dyer). Arthur is preceded in death by his father, Arather Broadus; mother, Roselee Redden; brothers, Roberts, Larry and Thomas Broadus.
In accordance with Arthur’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a family memorial service will take place at a later date.
