Arvonna "Bonny" Louise Whitney, 72, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022. She was born on January 27, 1949, the daughter of Ray A. and Joyce M. Chadwick.

She enjoyed fishing, playing poker, and spending time with her family. She made sure her grandchildren and great grandchildren knew how much she loved them, and always made time to pick on them. They truly were the light of her life. She will be greatly missed by her friends, family, and all those that knew and loved her.

Arvonna is survived by her children, Clifford (Valerie) Whitney, Melissa (James) Childs; grandchildren, Ray Brown Jr., Jennifer Winnie, Amanda Whitney, Daniel (Samantha) Norcross, Brieanna (Pierce) Soule, Brandon Norcross; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Potter, Alaina Norcross, Makayla Whitney, Jaxton Soule, Azarie Wilson, Clifford Dove; sisters, Becky Perry, Ramona Potter, Betty Hughes; brothers, Junior Chadwick and Murphy Lucas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clifford Whitney Sr. and brother, John Chadwick.

Family will receive guests for visitation at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, on Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, on Monday, January 17, 2022 starting at 12:00 pm with Pastor R.A. Anderson officiating.

Interment will take place at the Austin Cemetery in Convis Township, MI.
