Barbara Jean (Hess) Adams, 67, of Battle Creek, MI, died, Friday, December 2, 2011 at her home. She was born March 18, 1944 the daughter of the late Earl James Hess and Gladys (Van Giesen) Hess.
Barbara is survived by Sons: Johnnie Burge, Jim Burge, Jerry Adams and Jason Adams; Daughter: Jackie Cash; 7 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandson; Former Husband: Maynard K. Adams.
Barbara loved animals and was active in Branch County 4H for many years. She loved spending time with her family.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at the Northview Christian Church, 539 N. Union City Rd, Coldwater, MI on Thursday, December 8, 2011 from 5 PM to 6 PM with a memorial service beginning at 6 PM.
Memorial tributes may be made to the Cardio Vascular / Cancer Center at UofM, 1500 Medical Center Drive, Ann Arbor, MI.
