Obituary for Barbara Lou Cacciabaudo (Slout)

Barbara Lou (Slout) Cacciabaudo passed away, November 11, 2020. She was born on May 23, 1939 in Battle Creek, MI, to Harry M. and Marjory F. Slout. She grew up in Battle Creek, graduating from Battle Creek Central in 1957.
Directly out of high school she became a stewardess for a prominent airline. She held many interesting jobs through her career such as forest ranger, legal secretary, military police, drug and alcohol counselor and security guard. She retired from a long career with the federal government as well as over 20 years with the Air Force and Army Guard and Reserves.
She recently moved back to Battle Creek from Florida with her husband, Carmine. He preceded her in death this past July.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandee Smith, Rebekah Johnston, Marjory Cloutier and Mary Cleveland; Step-Daughters, Maria Cacciabaudo and Theresa Shelton; Grandchildren, Sean Bird, Ryan Ward, Rusty Lyn Bird, Michael Johnston, Taryn Johnston, Richard LeClear, Typhanie Hake, Joseph (Scotty) Cloutier, Alexandria (Lexi) Cloutier, Jacob Cloutier and Amber Durham; Great Grandchildren, Cody, Jacob, Kaden, Mitchell, Shane, Corbin, Elliana, Kassydi, Kaelum, Dreyan, Denny, Michael, Breanna, Nathanie, Hunter and Anabelle. She was preceded in death by her Parents.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at the Fort Custer National Cemetery on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Pastor James Codde officiating.
