Obituary for Barry L. Earls
Barry Lloyd Earls, 71, passed away peacefully at home on May 15, 2021. Barry was born on October 14, 1949 in Flint, Michigan to Lloyd and Anita Earls. He graduated from Ainsworth High School in 1967. Barry joined the U.S. Air Force in 1968 and made it his career. He was a Vietnam Veteran and continued a career in the Air Force for 20 years. He then went to work for the Department of Defense, working for 21 years and retiring in 2009.
Barry is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, LeAnne (Russell) Earls; son, Brandon Lee (Annie and Sam) Earls; the light of his life, grandson, Elijah Lloyd Earls; sister, Sandra (Perry) Spraker; nephews, Zachary (April) Spraker and Joshua (Christine) Spraker; mother-in-law, Beverly Russell and many cousins, great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anita and Lloyd Earls; daughter, Jamie Lynn Earls; sister, Shari Lee Earls and father-in-law, Jerry Russell.
Barry loved his friends, attending auctions, traveling, and wintering in Florida.
In accordance with Barry’s wishes, cremation has taken place and he will be interred at Fort Custer National Cemetery on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 12:00 pm.
