Obituary for Ben Lanney Thomas
Ben Lanney Thomas, a devoted Jehovah’s Witness, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on Monday, October 24th, 2022. He was born to Ennis and Helen Thomas on May 9th, 1959, in Dumas Arkansas.
Ben graduated from Dumas Highschool. Ben enjoyed reading and watching Westerns. Ben spent much time at the Pennfield Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness.
Survivor’s include his daughter LaKeisha Ann Laytart (husband Travis), granddaughters Jaleeyah Thomas and Annalee Dominquez; sisters Shirley Smith, Kristine Collins, Joan Thomas, Mary Frost and Francis Scott; brothers RJ Thomas, Wardell (wife Delois) Thomas and Billy (wife Patsy) Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Ben is proceeded in death by maternal grandparents Ben and Caldonia Norman, parents Ennis and Helen Thomas; brothers Larry, Bobby, and Ennis Jr Thomas and sister Rosa Mae Edgarson.
Funeral services will be held at Baxter Funeral and Cremation, 375 Dickman Rd., Battle Creek, Mi, 49037 on Tuesday November 8th at 11 o’clock AM.
