Bernice C. Jackson, 75 of Battle Creek, Michigan, transitioned on December 7, 2018. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Bobby “BJ” Jackson. She was a loving mother of Tamara (Max) Nolen-Johnson, Tracy S. Nolen and Toni D. Nolen. Step-mother to LaShelle D. (Smith) Williams and Charles Hals. The proud grandmother of AreShae Korrin Gumbs (deceased), Amir Jackson Nolen-Shabazz, D‘laiya Gumbs, Charley Williams, CJ Hals and Shanika Hals and two great-grand children. She leaves behind siblings: MacArthur (Melinda) Clark, Roosevelt “Bell” Clark, Evelyn Clark, Otis Clark, Viola Clark, Clinton Clark and Conrad (Terry) Clark. Preceded in death by parents Vernon Clark and Mary Nesbitt Clark; siblings Noah Clark, Charles Clark and David Clark. Additionally, a host of nieces and nephews survives her.
