Bonny Russell Clark, 87, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. He was born on November 24, 1931, the son of Tillman Merchant Clark Sr. and Cora (Hitchye) Clark.
Bonny worked for the Archway Cookie Company for 42 years as a Plant Supervisor before his retirement.
Bonny is survived by his Two Brothers, Jimison (Barbara) Clark Sr., Dennis Clark; Special Son, Ricky Clark, Two Grandchildren, Eric E. Smith Sr., Kevin M. Gregory; Three Great-Grandchildren, Jasmine Smith, Eric E. Smith Jr., Erinn Smith; Special Daughter, Jessie Barnes-Watson, Four Nephews, Fred Clark, Gerryl Clark, Jimison Clark Jr., Dr. John Ross Foreman; Ten Nieces, Brenda Clemmons, Britani Clark, Debra Wiggins, Dionne Clark, Dorothy Foreman, Jennifer Clark, Judy Clark, Linda Matthews, Mary Clark, Sherry Horton and a host of other grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, Ethel Lee Foreman-Clark, Daughter, Joanna Branch, Siblings, Howard Clark Sr., Chester Clark Sr., Maxine Wiggins, Xenophone Clark, Tillman "TC" Clark Jr.
Bonny loved cooking (greens) for family functions. He also loved baking, his lemon cake was his families all-time favorite. He enjoyed baking fruit cake and peanut brittle as gifts for his family and friends during Christmas time. He enjoyed watching old western movies, cooking shows, and listening to country and gospel music. Bonny was known to his family as the jack of all trades, he enjoyed working with his hands and his brothers.
Visitation will be held at Upton Avenue Original Church of God, on Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 10-11 a.m. with the funeral service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Willie Moore officiating.
Interment will take place in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
