Obituary for Brandon Omar Henry

Brandon Omar Henry, 44 passed away on December 24, 2023, in Las Vegas, NV after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma.

Brandon was born on March 12, 1979, in Battle Creek, MI to Edward & Annette Henry where he attended Urbandale Elementary, Northwestern Middle School and Battle Creek Central High School. As a kid he enjoyed running track, playing basketball, video games, traveling and spending time with family and friends. After high school Brandon took a job at Felpausch supermarket while also helping his brother run the family business, Henry’s Striping, painting parking lots. He eventually worked at Systex for 5 years before moving to Los Angeles to live with his brother. While living in Los Angeles Brandon made new friends held a temp job for the City of Beverly Hills then started working at the famous Arclight movie theater in Hollywood. A year later he decided to move to Las Vegas where he earned a certificate in Computer Technology from Kaplan, he spent the last 8 years working at T.J. Maxx warehouse. While living in Vegas he continued to enjoy watching NASCAR & hockey, bowling, playing video games and going to the movies with his friends. He is a diehard Niners, Lakers & Michigan Football fan. He enjoyed listening to music by Imagine Dragons, Wu-Tang Clan, The Chainsmokers, Maroon 5 and Lindsay Sterling.

Brandon is survived by his mother Annette Marie Henry of Las Vegas, Father Edward L. Henry Jr. of Las Vegas, brother Jason Kai Henry of Los Angeles, brother James Dinkins of Battle Creek and brother George Maki of St. George, UT. Bradon is preceded in death by his brother Edward L. Henry III, maternal grandparents Willa Mae & Harry Dreams, paternal Grandparents Edward L. Henry & Georgia Mae Henry.

Brandon will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

There will be a visitation on January 11th in Las Vegas at Palm Cheyenne Mortuary 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

He will be laid to rest in Battle Creek MI.

Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate his life on Saturday January 20, 2024, at Baxter Funeral and Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road from 11 am - 1 pm.
