Brenda Garcia, passed away on Wednesday October 27, 2021. She was born on October 16, 1948 to Clifton and Mary (Burgess) Lick in Battle Creek, Michigan. Brenda was a loving mother and grandmother. Knowing that Brenda is in the arms of Jesus gives her family Peace and Comfort. She also loved her cat Gypsy, and after her sister Gail’s passing, she adopted her cat Miss Kitty. She also loved sunflowers and enjoyed watching hummingbirds to pass time. Brenda also enjoyed going on trips with her aunt Annabell and uncle Mike in search of the best Fall Colors. She is survived by her children, Tonya McCowen, Melissa (Steve) Brady, Reyes Garcia, and Shawn (Stephanie) Garcia. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Emma J. Doke and Valerie G. Lick, her brother Fred S. Carr and daughter Lori R. Garcia.
