Brian Eugene Everest 57 of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at home. He was born on November 24, 1956 the son of Robert Eugene Everest and Vera JoAnn (Dugger) Everest.
Brian moved to Athens when he was in 3rd grade. He was in the cub scouts. He attended First Congregation Church and joined Christian Church-Riverside of Battle Creek MI in 2014. Brian served in the US Navy from 1973 to 1976 stationed on the USS Bainbridge.
Brian is survived by his Son, Brian Everest; Daughter, Tara Everest; two Step-Daughters, Tonya Wagley, Tiffany Worthington; 5 Grandchildren; two Brothers, Bryant (Linda) Everest, Brent Everest; two Sisters, Crystal Yost, Stacy (Paul) Tyler; many Nieces and Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Friends and very close friend, Kathy Tackett. He was preceded in death by his Father.
Brian loved fishing, boating, water skiing and other lake activities. He also enjoyed golfing and music.
A graveside service will be held at the Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Road with interment to follow at a later date.
