Obituary for Brian Robert Alexander
Brian R. Alexander, 49, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 24, 2022. He was born on April 30, 1972, the son of Dean and Carol (Dilsaver) Alexander.
From the time he was born, Brian was a fighter. Born at only 3 lbs, he fought for his life and to make the best of it. Growing up, Brian attended Lakeview Schools and was an active member of the Alano Club in Battle Creek. He was currently employed as a cook at McGonigle's Pub & Grill. Brian enjoyed kayaking, taking trips to Maggie Valley, NC, where he said his heart always belonged, playing disc golf, rides in his car and dune buggy, loving on his dogs and spending time with his grandchildren. Everyone knew that his grandchildren had him wrapped around their fingers and he would do anything to see them happy.
Brian is survived by his children, Brandy Alexander, Jacob (Skyler) Alexander, Cameron Alexander; grandchildren, Marlee, Aubrey, Asher, Avery; parents, Dean and Carol Alexander; brother, Billy Alexander and countless friends.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 12:00 (noon) to 2:00 pm with the funeral service immediately following at 2:00 pm with Pastor Dave and Damaris Thompson officiating.
