Obituary for Carmine Santo Cacciabaudo

Carmine Cacciabaudo, 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20, 2020. Carmine was born on April 3, 1942, in Brooklyn, NY, where he grew up before moving to Morristown, New Jersey as a young man.
He attended Morristown High School. Carmine retired from the town of Morristown as head foreman of the road department, where he plowed snow, repaired public pools, repaired police cars, and performed mechanical repairs on just about anything that needed it. He was a long time volunteer and lifelong member of the First Ward Fire Department in Morristown, NJ. He also belonged to the North South Skirmish Association where he reenacted major battles of the civil war. Carmine had a passion for woodworking, always using hand tools such as antique planes and chisels that he refurbished. He crafted guitars, knife handles, a weaving loom and many other beautiful pieces. Carmine was a kind, courageous, talented, loving man who worked hard all his life and had always been there for others.
Carmine is survived by his Wife of 16 years, Barbara; Daughters, Theresa Shelton and Maria Cacciabaudo; Grandchildren, Vincent, Victoria, Sabrina, Gabriella, Christopher and Danielle; Great Grandchildren, Naima, Vinnie, Angelo, Santino, Ariana, Cayden, Carson, Jasmine, Jaslene and Heiko; Step-Daughters, Sandee Smith, Rebekah Johnston, Marjory Cloutier and Mary Cleveland; Step Grandchildren, Ryan and Amber; Step Great Grandchildren, Annabelle, and many more step grandchildren and great grandchildren that he had not yet met.
He will be welcomed in heaven by his first wife of 39 years and mother of his children, Theresa; Brother, Benny; Son, Carmine and Granddaughter, Angela.
Services will be held at a later date.
