Obituary for Carolyn Elaine Guilfoyle (Pitt)
Carolyn Elaine (Pitt) Guilfoyle passed away peacefully with family by her side at Reflections Dementia Care Facility on Friday, May 8, 2020 at 12:45 pm. She was born on February 14, 1937, to Alfred Ernest and Frances Mae Pitt of Battle Creek, Carolyn was the youngest of 4 siblings.
Carolyn graduated from Battle Creek Central in 1956, she married her high school sweetheart, Terry Guilfoyle on May 11, 1957.
Carolyn's working career included Wilson's Department Store, Kroger's, Valley View Elementary, Pennfield Jr. High, and finished at Northwestern Jr. High.
Carolyn is survived by her Husband of 63 years, Children, Terralyn (Mark) Noel, Donald (Dorlah) Guilfoyle, Brenda (Bruce) Carnell and Dawn (Scott) Harris. Carolyn had 16 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both Parents, Brothers, Allan and Howard; Sister, Ruth; and Son-In-Law, Chris Noel.
Carolyn had many hobbies which included, sewing, making all of her daughters special dresses and wedding dresses for Niece, Colleens wedding, crafts, needlework, and a collection of over 600 Precious Moments figurines and dolls.
Interment will take place at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
