Charles Michael Lucas, 64, of Battle Creek, MI, died, Monday, February 7, 2011 at Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. He was born March 9, 1946. Charles served as a US Marine Corp during Vietnam and later retired from Post Cereals in 2009 after 19 years of service.
Charles is survived by Mother: Eleanore Cole; Son: Todd Lucas; Daughter: Christy Lucas; Sisters: Phyllis Sisak, Diane Bona & Sue Cole. She was preceded in death by his Father: Charles Lucas.
He enjoyed golf especially with his Tuesday night golf club at Gull Lake View Golf Course. He enjoyed traveling and going to the casinos.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Thursday, February 10, 2011 from 4 PM to 7 PM.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 12:30 PM with Rev. Jim Codde of Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Care officiating.
Interment will be at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI.
Memorial tributes may be made to the Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Care or the Battle Creek VA Medical Center.
