Remembering

Charlie was my step son since before he could walk. It was such a joy to have him in my life, to share in his life with Laurie and Buddy. The first few years of his life I swear only his hair grew because his cute little body did not! As Charlie grew he was very devoted to his family, especially his mom and dad. He loved to fish with his dad and to hunt. But the passion the two truly shared was wrestling. We started Charlie in the sport when he was four years old and he only excelled as he grew. Charlie's heart was so big that when I had already taught him to ride a bicycle, he didn't want to take that away from his mom so he let her work with him and believe she was teaching him. I loved that about that little boy. Charlie was one of the best things in my life and though time intervened taking us in different directions, my love for that boy never changed. I am forever blessed to have had a part of his heart and will truly miss him. My heart and my prayers are with Laurie and Trisha as I couldn't possibly know the heaviness in their hearts right now. RIH my precious boy. You were a delight to love
