Obituary for Charlotte Anne Wade (Burns)

Charlotte Anne Wade, 75, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018, at Bronson Battle Creek. She was born on February 18, 1943, the daughter of William Elbert Burns and Mary Katherine (Terrell) Burns.
Charlotte graduated from Battle Creek Central High School. She attended Kellogg Community College. Charlotte worked at the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center and later retired from the VA Hospital. In her younger years she attended First United Methodist Church.
Charlotte is survived by her Mother, Mary Katherine Burns; two Sons, Jeffrey Kenneth Wade and Kevin William Wade; Grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan, Brandon, and Vincent Wade; Sister, Karen Lynne (John ) Dettl; Brother, Terrell William (Wendy) Burns, and a host of other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her Father, William Elbert Burns.
Charlotte loved to read and write; in fact she was a published writer. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She loved music and going to Lake Michigan in South Haven. Charlotte was always so vibrant and full of life, she never let life get her down. She will be missed dearly by all those who she leaves behind.
A memorial service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Monday, August 20, 2018, at 1:00 pm.
Interment will be private at a later time and take place in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Bronson Battle Creek Cancer Care Center.
