Christi Leeanne Marsh peacefully took the hand of Jesus and entered into Heaven on April 13, 2021. The 34 years of Christi’s life were marked by many difficult health struggles, but her physical limitations did not define her spirit or relationships. She professed her faith in Jesus as her Savior and Lord and embraced her days with a smile and joy and love for the people around her.

Christi was born on June 10, 1986, in Battle Creek to Larry and Cheryl Marsh. She was a 2004 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and also received an Associate Degree as a medical administrative assistant from Kellogg Community College.

She treasured every opportunity to share time with her niece and nephews, Madison, Matthew and Ethan Thomas. Her love of animals knew no limits, especially for her beloved dog, Tuffy and her cats, Gracie and Mister. She was an active participant in the worship and fellowship of Lakeview Baptist Church, always eager to sing with the Praise Team.

Christi is survived by her mother, Cheryl Marsh; her sisters, Terri (Joey) Josephs, and Lisa (Charles) Thomas. As a young teen the death of her father, Larry, on October 16, 1999, was a deep loss.

While Christi’s physical heart may have failed her, her pure love for Jesus and her family and friends shall remain for eternity.

In accordance with Christi's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating Christi’s life will take place at a later date.

Donations in Christi’s memory may be shared with the Calhoun County Animal Center or the Kzoo Cat Cafe & Rescue in Kalamazoo.
