Christine Ann Baty, 66, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020. She was born on April 30, 1953, the daughter of Donald Leroy Thurston and Constance Justice (Brown) Corkins. She worked at the Hi-Lex Corporation for over 15 years. Christine was also a graduate from Argubright Business School and Wright's Beauty Academy. She loved to go to the beach, especially at South Haven and spending time with her family.

Christine is survived by two sisters, Tina Marie (William) Holton and Teri (Dick) Brown; two brothers, Phil (Karen) Thurston and Michael Thurston; daughter, Kimberly Borgman; son, Timothy (Annie) Frey; five grandchildren, Brandon (Meagon), Preston, Raelynn, Payten and Kaylyn; 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Leroy Thurston, Sr.; mother, Constance Justice Corkins and brothers, Donald Leroy Thurston, Jr., and Donald Thurston III.

In accordance with Christine's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Tuesday February 11, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Christine's name may be made to the family.
