Christopher Marcel Gills, 38 of Decatur, Georgia, son of Robin Yvonne Gills and Kenneth Edward Cork, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday, April 06, 2021. Christopher was Born January 19, 1983, in Battle Creek, MI. He accepted Christ as a young child and was baptized at Greenforest Community Baptist Church in Georgia. Christopher received his education in Battle Creek, MI and Decatur, Georgia. He enjoyed sports, spending time with family and friends and absolutely adored his children.

Christopher was kind-hearted, generous, sensitive, forgiving, and always eager to help. He knew how to love unconditionally. He wanted everyone to love one another and to not judge one another. He made people feel like they had somebody. Chris always glorified God.

Christopher was truly one of a kind, loved and will be missed beyond what words can express.

Christopher is survived by his Mother, Robin Gills; Grandmother, Shirley Gills, Daughters, Rhianna Gills, Imani Pettis, Aniyah and Annalise, Christaysha Gills, and Bentley White of Michigan; Sisters, Alana and Tamera Gills and Chanel McClenney of Michigan; Brothers, Kenneth and Stephen Gills of Georgia, Michael McClenney and Kenneth Pratt of Michigan; godbrother, William Hill; Special Aunt, Patricia Appling, and a host of Nieces and Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his Father, Kenneth Edward Cork and Brother, Robert Edwin Gills.

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Baxter Funeral & Cremation, 375 W. Dickman Rd. Battle Creek.
