Clarence “Corky” Edward Cork, 73, of Battle Creek, MI, died Thursday, March 21, 2013 at his home in Battle Creek Michigan. He was born December 4, 1939 the son of Elbert Cork and Cora (Robinson) Cork.
Clarence retired from the Battle Creek VA Medical Center after 38 years of service. In retirement he drove a school bus for the Battle Creek Public Schools until 2012.
Clarence is survived by Sons: Kenneth Cork, Kevin Cork, Kerry Cork and Keith Cork all of Battle Creek, MI; Daughters: Denise (James) Truvillion of Georgia, Linette Cork of Battle Creek, MI and Charleeta Cork of Battle Creek, MI; Sisters: Chinese “Betty” Lofton of Indiana and Odessa Pratt of Mississippi; A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Parents; his Wife of 51 Years: Lois Marie (Richardson) Cork; Brothers: John Cork and Leonard “Bob” Cork; Sisters: Juanita Cork and Edna Bacon; and Special Niece: Dorothy Jean (Cork) Lee.
Clarence enjoyed golfing, working in his yard and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Saturday, March 30, 2013 from 12 Noon to 1 PM.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 1:00 PM.
