Obituary for Clay S. Ryan
Clay Ryan, age 86, passed away in the early morning of February 26, 2021 at The Oaks at NorthPointe Woods, in Battle Creek, MI. He was born February 22, 1935 in Crawford, TN, the son of Ross Austin and Pearl Margaret (Wright) Ryan. The family moved to the Battle Creek area in 1955.
He married Shirley Ann Worthington on December 22, 1955, she passed away on November 10, 1996. He is survived by his daughter, Cathy Ryan of Portage, MI; Son, Clay Ryan Jr. (Robbin) of Benton Harbor, MI; and Partner, Pauline Norris of Battle Creek, MI. Also surviving are his Brothers, Brooks (Penny) Ryan and Doug (Nancy) Ryan both of Battle Creek, MI. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Six Brothers, Billy Ryan, Claude Ryan, Jerry Ryan, Keith Ryan, Jack Ryan Tony Ryan, and Two Sisters, Carol Hinton and Shelby Cowham.
Clay enjoyed fishing, hunting working around the house and spending time with family and friends.
A graveside service will take place at the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 starting at 10:00 am.
