Obituary for Connie Ann Hopson (Barley)
Connie Ann Hopson, 71, of Delton, Michigan, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital. She was born on November 10, 1949, the daughter of Robert Jr. and Mildred Lorena (Thurman) Barley.
Connie is survived by her Daughter, Maggie Duncan; Son, Jason Hopson; Adopted Son, Jason Blaylock; Sister, Robbie Roche; Four Grandchildren, Darrell Duncan, Jr., Quanita Courtney, Nathaniel Duncan, Jessica Taylor; Seven Great Grandchildren, Phoenix Courtney, Jaxtyn Courtney, Logan Duncan, Bryzon Duncan, Isaac Keiser, Cloe Keiser, Nathan Keiser Jr.; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and her Fur Baby, Brandi. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Brother, Paul Ray Coulter, Sisters, Robin Burbank, Paula Burdette and Tammy Grinnell.
Connie was a selfless, caring, loving woman that wanted to help anyone that she could. She loved the ocean and collecting elephants and eagles. She was very family oriented and would have given everything she had to her family to make sure they were happy and well taken care of. Connie was loved by so many people and will be truly missed by all those that knew and loved her.
A memorial service to celebrate Connie's life will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 starting at 1:00 pm at the Baxter Funeral and Cremation Service with Pastor James Codde officiating.
