The last couple of years, I had the pleasure of going to visit and sit with Aunt Corine. She was such a feisty lady and pretty funny too. She would tell me stories about Mama, Daddy and herself growing up as kids is the South. Also, she would tell stories about Mama Hattie, Papa Earnest and her family as well. I enjoyed those visits because I learned about our family and it was still a connection I had with Mama through Aunt Corine. I would always tell her I love her and kiss her goodbye.
