Dana Lynn Hill Sr., was born on October 12, 1963, in Battle Creek, Michigan. He was the youngest and only son of Eugene S. Hill and Florence (Mason) Hill. Dana graduated from Battle Creek Central High School and was in the United States Army.

Dana loved and knew the Lord with all of his heart!

Dana enjoyed painting, cooking, drawing, playing the drums, music, Jet magazine, basketball, spending time with his son (His Big Man), Mother and family. He loved his nieces and nephews like they were his daughters and sons. Also, he loved Rick James music.

On May 5, 2021 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Dana was called home with the Lord.

Dana is survived by his Mother, Florence Hill; Son, Dana L. Hill; Granddaughter, Jamaria Young; Sisters, Renee (Hill) Morris and Tamera Hill; Special Cousin/Big Brother, Ben E. Mason; Nieces, LaTeeka Morris, Estella Hickman, Malisa White, LaTanya Pruitt, Carmine (Kitchen) Heidelberg; Grand & Great Nephews and Nieces, Uncle Joe Broadnax; God-Sister, Brenda Glasper Foye from Franklinton, NC; Special Friend, Terrie B. Motley & family and a host of all other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on May 13, 2021 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm.
