Obituary for Daniel Lee Brunt
Daniel Lee Brunt, 86 of Battle Creek, passed away on June 15th, 2018 at Oaklawn Hospital. He was surrounded by his family and extended family. Daniel was the son of Roy and Annabelle Brunt.
Daniel worked at General Foods for a number of years where he later retired from. He was a hard working, old fashioned man that would give the shirt off his back to help you, he will be truly missed by all. Daniel was a exemplary Father, Husband, Supporter and a man full of wisdom and humor.
Daniel is survived by his Wife of 60 plus years Jacqueline Leona (Petch) Brunt, His Daughter, Elizabeth (Leon) Messer of Battle Creek and His son, Timothy (Jean) Brunt of Battle Creek. He also leaves behind Grandchildren, Jessie, Latrcce, Bree, Lance, Amber, Aric and Dana, as well as a lot of great-grandchildren, too many to name.
He was preceded in death by is Father, Mother, Brother, Sisters, and His Favorite Dog, Missy.
Daniel enjoyed Checkers, where he was a Grand Master and could beat all challenges. He enjoyed motorcycles and old movies, dogs and spending time with his family and extended family. He will be missed and will always be in our hearts.
Donations can be made in his name to Hospice, Calhoun County Animal Shelter of the Battle Creek Y-Center.
Arrangements are being handled by Baxter Funeral And Cremation Service.
