Daniel Leroy Purcell, 79, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at MediLodge of Marshall. He was born on March 13, 1941, the son of Don L. and Anna Elizabeth (Whittie) Purcell.
He worked for and retired from the State of Florida after 38 years of dedicated service. Dan was a member of the Polish National Alliance (PNA) in Battle Creek, MI.
Dan is survived by his Wife of 13 years, Anna (Church) Purcell; Two Daughters, Lisa (Dave Wygant) Keesler, Debbie (Randy) Champagne; Two Sons, Mark Purcell, Kevin Purcell; Three Step Daughters, Pamela Woodin, Carol (Paul) Lindauer, Lisa Busick; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents and his Former Spouse, Darlene Purcell.
Dan enjoyed gambling, traveling, fishing, watching sports and NASCAR, having a cold Bud Light, and giving his family a good laugh. He was simple man, that loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
A celebration of life service to honor the life of Dan will be held at a later date.
