David (Dave) Wayne Brigle, 74, passed away Tuesday evening, November 16, 2021. David was born in Hillsdale, MI on August 10, 1947 being the eldest son of Richard D. and Vivian V. Brigle of Hillsdale and Battle Creek, MI.

David was a proud graduate of Hillsdale High School and Hillsdale College. During the Vietnam War, David served in the U.S. Army within the EOD unit having trained in Explosive Ordinance and Nuclear Weapons Disposal. As an Overseas Returnee effective November of 1970, he returned home to Hillsdale and attended Hillsdale College earning a B.S. Degree in Economics. He received an Outstanding Young Men of America Award in 1975. He then entered sales and pursued a career in the Real Estate Industry as a real estate agent, appraiser, and loan officer.

His interests included reading, bird watching, relaxing with his dog, and helping people-in-need.

He will be lovingly missed by his family and is survived by his wife, Janet R. Caldwell; his daughter, Stephanie M. Brigle; step-son, Michael T. Caldwell; and brother, Richard L. Brigle. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linda D. John.
