David L. Ludlow, 78, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023. He was born on February 26, 1945, the son of Burchard Ludlow and Genevieve Lorraine (Massey) Ludlow.

Dave graduated from Quincy High School and took a few college courses at KCC and Davenport. Dave honorably served 2 years in the United States Army. After leaving the Army, he joined the Michigan Army National Guard, retiring after 20 years of service. Dave worked for the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center within Air Force Logistics. Dave was an avid coin collector and had quite the collection. He could frequently be found watching NASCAR and Westerns. He was a lover of animals and enjoyed dog sitting for his daughter.

David is survived by his children, Judith (Brian) Ludlow-Ginder, Jonathan Ludlow; step-son, Fred Jordan; grandchildren, Aaron (Tareh) Squires, Kristen Morgan, Lynn Ludlow. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, James and Daniel Ludlow.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held at the Fort Custer National Cemetery on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 2:30 pm.
