David Russell McPherson, 56, of Fulton, MI, died, Thursday, June 2, 2011 at his home in Fulton, MI. He was born December 19, 1954 the son of Philip D. McPherson and Dale Irene (Horton) McPherson.
He retired from Post Cereals in 2010 after 35 years of service.
David is survived by his Parents, his Wife of 17 years: Penny Renae (Bell) McPherson of Fulton, MI; Daughters: Christy Stockburger of Jackson, MI, Sarah McPherson of Frisco, CO and Libby (Max) Hiatt of Athens, MI; Grandchildren: Lacey, Lily, Maxwell and Isabelle; Brother: Philip (Brenda) McPherson of Battle Creek, MI. He is preceded in death by Sister: Kathleen Baird and Mother-in-Law: Alice Beth Bell.
David enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, camping and anything mechanical. He was a member of the Post Cereal 25 Year Club.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Wednesday, June 8, 2011, 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Bruce Kintigh of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating.
Memorial tributes may be made to the Battle Creek Cancer Care Center.
