Debra L. (Hillman) Hands, 58, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord surrounded by her friends and family on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at home. She was born on March 28, 1959, the daughter of Thomas A. Hillman and Joyce J. (Smutek) Hillman.
Debra was a 1977 graduate of Gull Lake High School. She was employed at Kmart and then at Sam's Club for several years.
Debra is survived by her Father, her Step-Children, Bridget (David) DeYoung and Abraham (Caroline) Hands; Step-Grandchildren, Britney, Abbigail, Lawrence & Abraham Jr.; Brothers, Thomas Hillman, David Hillman, Rodney Hillman, Ken (Margaret) Hillman, Daniel (Kim) Hillman, Bruce Hillman and Eric Hillman; A host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her Mother, her Husband, Richards Hands and Sister-in-Law, Gail Hillman.
Debra enjoyed needle point, watching birds, her dog "Sadie", camp fires, cookouts, gardening, riding her ATV and loved spending time with her friends and family.
Visitation will be held at the Heritage Hills Bible Church on Saturday November 25, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
A celebration of Debra's life will be held at the Heritage Hills Bible Church, 13015 M-66, on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 4:00 pm.
