To Leroy, Jr. and family. I have many memories of your mom from when your dad first brought you and your mom to Battle Creek and then the many good times I had at their home in our young days. I remember your mom as a very quiet but determined lady who had the ability to keep your dad on the straight and narrow when required, smile. I miss those good days and times but the memories will linger on. Opal also enjoyed having known your mom and the many conversations they shared. You probably don’t know that your dad and I joined the military just days apart in December 1966; he went into Navy and I joined the Air Force. We also attended KCC at the same time and would sometimes see each other at school or racing to get to one of our classes on time.

Leroy and Delora will live on in our memories,

Harry & Opal
