Dennis Ray Mentor, 63, of Battle Creek, MI, Died, Friday, September 2, 2011 at the Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. He was born March 31, 1948 the son of Floyd Glenn and Viniece Warna (Brown) Mentor.
Dennis was employed at Meijer for over 20 years and then at Southern Graphics until retiring.
Dennis is survived byWife: Laura Mentor of Battle Creek, MI; Daughters: Tina (Russell) Campbell of Kalamazoo, MI, Rayann (Bryan) Campbell of Georgia and Ladonya Ashley of Battle Creek, MI; Sons: Denny (Cheryl) Snow of Kalamazoo, MI, Douglas (Merri) Mentor of Georgia, Joseph Mentor of Georgia, James Guess of Battle Creek, MI and Douglas Guess of Battle Creek, MI; Sister: Glayda (Terry) Lewis of Coopersville, MI; Brothers: Ric Mentor of Kalamazoo, MI, Vic (Linda) Mentor of Mississippi and Dale (Pamela) Mentor of Mattawan, MI; Step-Sister: Cathy Worthington of Kalamazoo, MI; 20 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Parents.
Dennis enjoyed bowling, fishing and golf.
A memorial service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 2 PM with Pastor Ken Hale of Victory Baptist Church officiating.
