Obituary for Diana R. Whitmire
Diana Whitmire, 66, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019. She was born on August 9, 1952, the daughter of Norman Smith and Katherine (Tabiadon) Smith. She worked for 37 years with Consumers Energy before retiring. Diana enjoyed spending time with family and was an avid quilter.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Whitmire Sr.; son, Fred (Sarah) Whitmire Jr.; daughter, Megan (Michael) Oldfield; an aunt, Rose Tabiadon and cousin, Bonnie Davenport. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Steven Smith and sister, Arlene Kerr.
In accordance with Diana's wishes, cremation has taken place. The memorial service will be held July 27, 2019 from 12:00-4:00 at the Bedford Lion's Club.
