Obituary for Don Lee WIlliams

Don Lee Williams, 82, of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away on September 17, 2022.
Don married the love of his life, Arkie and the two spent the last 58 wonderful years together. After high school Don joined the United States Marine Corp. He came home to help his mother take care of his father. He worked in the Albion Foundry where he was an Apprentice Electrician. When his family moved to Battle Creek, Don got a job at Eaton Corporation. After the plant closed, he went to work at Post Cereal from where he retired in 2002.
Don loved his family and enjoyed spending the majority of his time with them. He loved playing in the back yard, helping with school work, planting vegetable and flower gardens and taking many vacations to Kentucky to visit Arkie's family, who also became his family. Don coached little league and bowled, but most of all he loved playing senior softball. Don was a people person and would help anyone who needed it.
Don's life was full but his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren really made his world go around. He was always there for them and they in turn loved him. "Miss you already, love you forever. It is your turn with Him now, Nicole Marie." (Don's granddaughter in heaven).
Don is survived by his wife, Arkie; children, Terri Williams, Clifton (Jennifer) Lee Williams, Scott Williams; granddaughters, Megan Michelle Cvetnich, Grace (Conner) Vantilburg, Cora Jean Williams, Faith Elizabeth Williams; great granddaughters, Kieana Marie Cvetnich, Analease Cvetnich; grandsons, Jon Michael Lee Cvetnich and Kyle Lee Williams.
A funeral service that celebrated the life of Don was held on Friday, September 23, 2022 at the Hope Church of the Nazarene in Battle Creek, MI.
