Donald "Jim" James Day Sr., 86, of Bellevue, Michigan passed away on June 4, 2021 at his home. He was born to Thelma (Hughes) Day and Lisle Day on April 24, 1935 in Climax, Michigan.

  He was the fourth of six children. Donald graduated from Battle Creek Central High School. He honorably and proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a Painter at Kellogg’s. He married Beverly Ann Day (Orns) on January 9, 1965.

  Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, sailing and enjoyed the outdoors with his family and friends. He loved all animals!

  He is preceded in death by his Wife, Beverly (2011); Eldest Son, Donald "Donnie" James Day Jr. (2006), and Siblings, Clarence, Darlene, Diane and Gwen. He is survived by his Children, Jeff (Tina) Day, Penney (Eric) Bush, Randy Day, Pamela Day, Jill (Jerry) Parsons, Jack Day and Michelle (Kevin) Thompson; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, in which he loved very much; Sister, Julie (Brian) Stebleton, and Good friend, Jim Beverly.

   A celebration of life will be held on June 19, 2021 at Jim's farm starting at 1:00 pm.
